8-8-8 or August 8, 2008. Considered a lucky day. Yesterday marked another day in history, not only for Filipinos but for the whole world as well. The opening ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics was quite a huge display of colors and pride. The Bird's Nest (China's National Stadium) was packed and people in many counties awaited the extravagant ceremony.

ooohhh!! I thought that the Olympic opening was sooooooo spectacular. Beauty, grace and elegance all combined to create one of the most memorable openings ever! I loved it!
